Charles was the only son of Stella and Fred Barber and was born January 9, 1929.
Charles attended the St. Mary’s University and was in the United States Marine Corp. After years of working in Houston and after retirement, Charles worked with the Drug and Alcohol Counsel, as well as Habitat for Humanity.
Charles was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Pace and Fredda Lou Brice.
He is survived by two sisters, Joanna Webb and Mary Frances Holzgraf, 9 nieces, 3 nephews and numerous great and great, great nieces and nephews. Charles was a beloved Uncle and special friend. He will be truly missed.
