Christopher Lance Lisenbee passed away August 11, 2025, in Midland, Texas. He was born October 16, 1970 in Odessa, TX. Chris spent his younger years in Austin living with his father Jerry and stepmother Jean. After graduating high school, he lived most of his adult life in Alaska with his mother Peggy. Known for his never-ending love of animals he flew his favorite companion Gina out to Texas to live with him.
Once graduating high school, he spent many years working in the restaurant business gaining insight from every job. Chris was a creative soul who enjoyed carpentry projects, especially designing wall décor.
He dreamt of owning property, camping, and traveling the world. Chris had big dreams and lived with passion for life's simple joys.
Those who live on to carry his memory are his father, Jerry Leonard Lisenbee; his brother, David Shane Sheldon and wife Jamie of San Marcos, Texas; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Beauchamp and his paternal grandparents, Willie Leroy Lisenbee and Willie Mae Lisenbee.
A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park on Friday, August 22,2025 at 11am.
