He was a good man with a big heart that was always there for his family, friends, and all strangers. He tried to leave people better than when he found them. Pete was interested in many things such as girls fast pitch softball (coaching and umpiring), being a football referee, was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved pistol shooting tournaments. He always had a smile and an awful joke to tell. He passed away on Saturday, February 24 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 64.
Pete is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janice; daughter Heather Paulsen and husband Mark and their children Cadean and Bailey; his twin brother Elbert and wife Duchess; sister, Dorothy Price and her husband Ronnie.
There will be a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Hands of Midland at 1301 Brinson, Midland, TX 79703.
