Dennis Grizzle

He was born in Snyder, Texas to Eugenia and Jesse Grizzle. Dennis was raised in Ira, Texas, where he graduated from high school in 1967. He attended Baylor University, and graduated from UTB. He married Dianne Merritt on November 13, 1971 in Snyder, Texas. Dennis was a Baptist, a member of the NRA and a Mason.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Eugenia and Jesse Grizzle, and grandparents, Eugene and Lois Carlile.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Grizzle; son, Heath Grizzle of Lubbock, TX; son, Jesse Brent Grizzle and wife Tina of Midland; daughter, Cassandra Fujimoto and husband Yuibi of San Antonio, TX; brother-in-law, James B. Merritt and wife Gwen of Snyder, TX; sisters-in-law, Kathy Holdren and husband Mark of Snyder, TX; Robbi Tindol and husband Douglas of Snyder, TX; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bessie and Wayne Merritt of Snyder, TX; granddaughters, Amalia Grizzle, Kaity Barfield and Lindsey Patterson; grandson, Chris Barfield, and a very special friend, Jimmy R. Kelly and wife Carlene.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 14, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Ellis Funeral Home. Funeral service has been scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ira, TX at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
