Donna Lee Carter, 80, of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Donna was born May 20, 1931. She was an excellent mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. Donna loved baking for friends and family. She was a volunteer for the Foster Grandparents’ Program here in Midland for many years. She was also a faithful, longtime member of Kelview Heights Baptist Church.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Carolyn and husband Mike James, of Midland; brother, Billy Ray Perry and wife Gayle Perry, of Midland; grandson, Michael James of Houston; granddaughter, Sarah Belle James, of Midland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service is planned for 10:00am on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in McCamey, Texas at 2:00pm.
