Dorothy Weatherby Price

Dorothy Weatherby Price was born July 18, 1928 in Cisco, Texas to P.T. Weatherby and Lena Weatherby. On July 12, 1947 she and Billy Jack Price were married in Cisco, Texas. They had three sons, Glen Rodney Price, Gregory Allen Price, and Jack Price. Dorothy worked for Sears for many years in Midland, Texas. She has been a resident of Midland, Texas since 1974 moving there from Kermit, Texas. Her interests were her church and her family.

She attended First United Pentecostal Church in Odessa, Texas.

Dorothy departed from this life Sunday, September 2, 2018 to be at home with Jesus. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Jack Price, her son, Glen Rodney Price, granddaughter, Starla Dawn Price, both her parents, by her sisters, and brother.

She is survived by two sons, Greg Price and wife Rhyllis of Greenwood, Texas, and Jack Price and his wife Judy of Longview, Texas: Grandchildren Velvet Price Holman and her husband Larry of Hallsville, Texas, Crystal Price Massey and her husband William of Longview, Texas, Ms. Jana Price of College Station, Texas, and Rhett Price of Boston, Massachusetts: great grandchildren, Brendyn, Alston, and Jackson Massey all of Longview, Texas and Amaris and Cherish Holman of Hallsville, Texas, and sisters Lucille Hall and Husband Jerry of Longview, Texas, brother Andrew Weatherby and wife Rose of Virginia, and brother in law Ronny Price and his wife Paula of Odessa, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services have been scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, Texas with Reverend Terry Pugh officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home, Midland, Texas.
