Eddie Carroll Moore

Eddie was born on September 6, 1952, in O’Donnell, Texas to Hazel Lavernce Shumake Moore and Calvin Edward Moore. He worked for Arc Pressure Data in Odessa for over forty years. Eddie enjoyed working on his project cars and teaching the grandkids how to get in trouble. He enjoyed watching old Westerns, especially John Wayne movies but mostly, Eddie adored his family and spending time with them especially his grandchildren and his grand puppies. He was known as “Papa” to all who loved him.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty-three years and love of his life, Brenda J. (King) Moore of Midland; daughters, Vanessa Vigar and husband Vincent of Midland and Tiffany Matthews and her husband Patrick of Canyon Lake, Texas; his sister, Terry Kimble of Midland and his brother-in-law, Shane King of Midland; five grandchildren, Miranda Vigar, Nickolas “Bubba” Vigar, Riley Grace Matthews, Violet Reese Matthews and Granger Colt Matthews; numerous other family and friends who loved him dearly. Eddie also leaves behind his grand puppies who adored him and loved him dearly.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Ellis-Resthaven Funeral Home in Midland for those who want to pay their respects. The family will receive visitors at the house for those who want to give their condolences to them as they will not be attending the visitation. Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Ellis-Resthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Vince Vigar, Patrick Matthews, Nick Vigar, Mike Curtis, William Kimble, Kenneth Kimble. Honorary Pallbearers will be Granger Matthews and Shane King.
