

Ervin Lee Braden, 75, of Midkiff, died on Monday, September 6, 2010 in Midland, Texas. Ervin was born on December 8, 1934 in San Angelo, Texas to Walter and Ellie Braden. He married Mary Sue Pippin on April 3, 1965. He has been a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Midkiff, Texas. He retired doing what he loved, farming. Survivors include his wife, Sue of Midkiff, Texas; his two daughters, Jana Braden Behen of Midkiff, TX; Brenda Halfmann and husband Chris of Midland, TX. He also leaves behind three adorable grandkids, Jeffery Behen, Jr., Samantha Behen, and Alex Halfmann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and close cousins and friends. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 10, 2010 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Lawrence, Texas with Father Francis Njoku officiating. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered at www.ellisfunerals.com. Pallbearers will include Curt Robinson, John Pippin, Pat Robinson, Willis Pippin, Ray Barrett, Brent King, Wilbert Braden, and Billy Eggemeyer. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Pippin, Jeffery Behen, Jr., Chris Medrano, Lee Williams, and Chris Halfmann.
