Felipe Rodriguez of Midland passed away February 6, 2011. He was born on August 23, 1912 in Lamesa, TX to Alvino and Gregoria Rodriguez. He served proudly during World War II until he was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alvino and Gregoria Rodriguez, his wife Manuela C. Rodriguez. Three sons, Enrique, Leonardo, and Arnulfo Rodriguez; one grandson Alvino Rodriguez; four brothers, Nicolas, Paulino, Epimeno, and Roque Rodriguez; and three sisters, Felipa Maldonado, Patricia Lerma, and Chencha Diaz.
He is survived by his daughter, Oliva Velarde, three sons, Felipe Rodriguez and Henry Rodriguez of Midland, TX and Manuel Rodriguez of Baldwin Park, CA; three sisters, Francisca “KiKa” Gutierrez, Isidra Benavidez, and Marcelina Lopez. He also leaves behind twenty grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
