To My Dear Sweet Special Beautiful Caring Loving Aunt Fern. I am not able to be there in person today to celebrate your life and to say farewell, but my Spirit with you and celebrating you right where I'm at.  I am so grateful and will cherish the time when we recently spent the day together - just letting things flow nice and easy - reminiscing.. watching the butterflies flutter.  Aunt Fern, I want to Thank You for your love and caring about me, checking in on me - meant and means so much to me. You always have a special place in my heart. I cherish and treasure the quilt you made and gave to me. It lives on my bed. Your Spirit with me always. Love that you used scraps of fabric that I had sewn my own clothes with back in high school. You always so thoughtful,  My dad loved you and said Fern will always be there for you and boy did he get that right! You were the most devoted, loving, caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt that anyone could ask for and wife. Loved watching how Reese (with twinkle in eye) would proudly look up at you and loved how he doted on you - he knew he was one lucky guy! Today your beautiful loyal red bird awaits to accompany you to our Heavenly Father's Home where your sweet granddaughter, Jenalee Dawn is waiting to welcome you with open arms, along with your mother, father, brothers,  sisters, and loved ones.  (Loved and will treasure your last words to me..  Your smiling eyes,  opened wide and alert, looking straight at me.. "Well, Hi Janie.. I've had a busy day.. I've been all over the country.. yeah I've had a busy day.")  Yes, Aunt Fern, you have had a very busy Life all over the country.  Now your job here on earth is well done. May you now Rest in Peace. You are now in the best care - you in Jesus' Care.  My heartfelt condolences to all the family. Wish I could be there with you. Family is important. Sending you all my Love.
