Frances Lou Wyatt Brown

Mrs. Frances Wyatt Brown, 90, Spring, TX and formerly of Midland, TX, passed away at 9:20 PM on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Vitas Hospice, Conroe, TX. She was born on January 27, 1924 in Breckenridge, TX a daughter of the late Otto White and Ophia Alma Allgood Wyatt. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Golf Course Church of Christ, Midland, TX. She was also a graduate of Stanford High School, Stanford, TX, and Tarleton State University, Stephenville, TX. Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James A. Brown, Jr., whom she married on Christmas Eve 1944 in a double ceremony with their friends Bill and Mary Wise in Avoca, TX.

She is survived by her daughter: Susan Medina and her husband: Saul of Spring, TX; two sons, James A.“ Butch“ Brown III and his wife: Peggy; and Keith O. Brown and his wife: Louise both of Midland, TX. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Crandall Freeman and his wife: Kathlynn; Tiffany Brown Smith and her husband: Stacy; Whitney Smith Hughes and her husband: Dustin all of Midland, TX and Kimberly Medina, Spring, TX; two great grandchildren: Shelby Freeman and Ella Hughes, both of Midland, TX.

Visitation will be held at the Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Highway, Midland, TX from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2014

Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted at Resthaven Memorial Park, Midland, TX at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
