Pat was my mother's neighbor at Lake Spence. I will always remember him making sure all the gates on her land were always open for the deer. I always thought that was funny because the deer would just jump the fence. We were down there on the day of his funeral and did not know he had gone to heaven. I thank him for looking out for my mom when she lived there. They are both in heaven rejoicing with Jesus!

I will miss Pat - his true intelligence and ability to simplify matters for uninstructed folks like me in a charitable way. God blessed us with Pat's presence. May He bless you, too, Charlene.

What a wonderful Christian, When I started to work for Hillard O&G he said I am a Christian. Well when we got in our rist project, he said just send it back, do not make copies, Any other Geologist would have made copies and that would have been the par at that time. To your family Pat, may God be with them as you are truly going to be missed. I'm sorry I didn't learn of your passing until today.

Pat was a very close family friend to Bill and Mayree Adamson, my parents. I have very fond memories of times spent at his home and our house when I was a child.
Always thought he was a wonderful he and my dad can discuss the oil business in heaven together. :)

Pat's booming laugh will certainly be remembered and missed by his fellow geologists here in Midland. Rest in peace, my friend......

Pat was a truly unique individual...never shy about sharing his opinion about any subject, but always willing to give a kind word and help whenever needed. I will miss my friend and mentor of over 30 years. My thoughts and prayers will be with Charlene and all of the family.

We really loved Uncle Pat. In fact, this past weekend my family and I were in Arkansas, exploring at the top of a mountain, looking for crystals. Lauren, my daughter, kept asking very detailed questions about the earth's formation of such great things and all the landscape that we were observing. These were questions that I could not completely answer, but we agreed that if Uncle Pat were with us he could tell us every detail. Little did we know that he would be "going home" this week. We will miss his visits to Louisiana and the stories he would tell. He loved to tell stories of growing up and of his history as a geologist. Most of all, I know he loved God, which is a great comfort when we loose someone that we love. We will see him again when we too will make that step into heaven, as long as we accept Christ into our hearts, as he did. We will be praying for Kathy, Craig and Aunt Charlene (and other family) that God will comfort them and give them strength during this time of grief.
