Greg Boles, beloved son, brother and uncle passed away on October 21, 2018 in Midland, Texas. Greg was born in Midland Texas on July 26, 1958 and is the son of Herbert F. Boles and the late Norma Jean Boles
Greg graduated from Memorial Senior High School in Houston, Texas and continued his education at Texas Tech where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He completed his degree and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
After graduation, he moved to Midland and worked in the Oil and Gas Industry as a Petroleum Landman. Greg was a member of the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association and the Texas Tech Alumni Association.
Greg’s hobbies included hunting and golf. Everyone who knew him knew he loved animals, especially his two dogs, Herb and Amigo.
He was predeceased by his mother Norma Jean Boles.
Greg is survived by his father, Herbert F. Boles, brother, Robert O. Boles and wife Erin Boles of Dallas, Texas, sister, Kathy Boles Anderson and husband Mike Anderson of Dallas, Texas, nieces, Brittany Boles and Hadley Anderson and nephews, Michael Anderson, Jr. and Brandon Boles.
Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday October 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Reverend Steve Schorr officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Terry Hamilton, Dean Heisel, Ron Herrin, Mike Anderson, Michael Anderson Jr. and Brandon Boles.
Arrangements are under the care of Ellis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
