Guadalupe Paz, fondly called by “Lupe” of Midland, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011. He was born on September 14, 1956 and attended Angelo State University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Lupe was a member at First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Diane Paz; daughters, Erin and Jon Underwood; Hannah Paz and Trey Vanley and Josie Paz all of Midland. Two brothers, Jose and wife Becky Paz and Afredo Paz. He also leaves behind two grandchildren Lily Vanley and Avery Underwood. Memorial services will be held Monday, February 7, 2011 at 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church. Private burial will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, February 7, 2011 at Lawn Haven Cemetery in San Angelo, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
