Gwendolyn Joy McPherson

Gwen finished school in 1936 and later married Mace McPherson on August 24, 1941 in Long Beach, California. The couple lived in Lockney until 1946 when they moved to Belen, New Mexico. They had three children. The family moved to Midland, Texas in January 1951. Gwen was a self employed, motivated woman who operated a dry cleaning service with her husband until 1982, when she retired.

Gwen had a diverse range of hobbies, including reading, cross stitch, painting, and ceramics. Most of all, she loved spending time and playing cards with her family. Gwen had 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren to enjoy.

Gwen is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Kristopher Kendrick, and son-in-law, Tony Baker.

She is survived by her children, Kay Finkbeiner and husband Kurt of Midland, Simone Baker of Denver, Co., and Mike McPherson and wife Randy of Midland.
