Inez was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was a homemaker for many years, then became an aide at DeZavala Elementary School. She also worked at a bank for a few years and volunteered at Casa de Amigos.
She and Ezequiel were active Cursillistas, OLG Hospital Ministry, Eucharistic Ministers and she was a member of the Guadalupanas. They left a wonderful legacy of Faith, Love and Service. Her Faith was big and all she ever wanted for gifts was that her children and grandchildren would attend Mass with her. Her face would light up when someone would come sit with her. The last 3 years of her life were spent praying the Rosary and Divine Mercy most days.
She loved working in the yard and cooking for friends and family. She could make something out of nothing. She was proficient in crochet and made beautiful doilies, pillow cases and tablecloths. Mom didn’t have a lot of friends, but the friends she had were best friends. Sundays were Family Fundays where whoever could come would have dinner and play games. Rumicube was her favorite.
Mom and Dad had 8 children. She is survived by 5 of their children, Graciela (Ricardo), Maria del Rosario (daughter in law), Michael (Andrea), George (Lesia), Dora (Fernando), and Anna. She loved her 19 Grandchildren, 55 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great-Great Grandchildren for a grand total of 86! She also loved her many nieces and nephews like her own.
