She worked as a pharmacy technician for 30+ years. Jacqueline married her high school sweetheart, Danie Jobe on January 9, 2009 in Midland. She loved going to church, singing praise and worship songs, playing Bejeweled, anything Winnie the Pooh, drinking her Coke products and reading books. “The Chronicles of Narnia” and “The Shack” were among her favorites. She loved to search the thrift store for good books and she donated to and supported the “Friends of the Library.” Jacqueline also loved watching Days of Our Lives, CSI, Ghost Whisper and Christian-based movies like I Can Only Imagine and I Still Believe. She was a peaceful soul who loved her pups and loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Danie of Midland; son, Daniel Ruezga, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Midland; daughters, Britanny Nicole Ruezga and husband Benjamin Rodriguez of Phoenix, AZ and Samantha Desirre Ruezga of Austin; brother, James Grigory of Midland; sister, Susan Garcia and husband Martin of Midland; three grandchildren, Olivia Marie Ruezga, Benjamin Iven Rodriguez, and Maiia Desirre Rodriguez; and three step-children, Diana Jaime and Ashley May, both of New Mexico, and Nathan Jobe of Midland.
She is preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Patsy R. Betts; uncle, Fred Betts; cousins, William and Melvin Scarberry; and father-in-law, Roy Jobe.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 4-8 PM at Ellis Funeral Home. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 1 PM at Living Way Foursquare Church.
