Jacqueline Lou McMillan was born on November 22, 1951, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Kenneth and Lucille Baker. A few years later as most active duty Army families are relocated they settled in El Paso, TX where she had a full life there with her parents and sister Linda.
“Jackie” as most people knew her graduated from Irvin High School in 1969, Texas Women’s University in 1973, and later from UTPB. Her career started at Pecos High School teaching home education until she met Olin, they were married March 27, 1975 in Pecos, TX. In July of 1977 they were blessed with a child. The oilfield took them to Midland, TX where they purchased their first home at 1210 W. Michigan. The family thrived and Jackie began her long career with MISD. She taught at Jones Elementary for 14 years and retired at Bush Elementary with many accolades. She loved being a teacher and helping others. Jackie was a beautiful person, skilled seamstress, avid baker also loved animals including her Schotzi. A devout Christian who wanted and believed she would be reunited in Heaven with Jesus. Things that brought her joy were spending time with her friends and volunteering at the Hope House where she was just honored as a Queen Bee.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Olin McMillan, father Chief Warrant Officer Kenneth Edgar Baker, mother Lucille Baker and sister Linda Segal DuTeau. She leaves behind daughter Jennifer R. Drummond husband Michael, granddaughter Madigan R. Hulet husband Taylor and great grandson Kolton P. Hulet and granddaughter Macie R. Drummond, She also leaves Kenneth Segal wife Stacy and Dean along with wife Diane Segal, both of Wyoming.
