Jesse Snow

He was born on March 4, 1936 in Ackerly, Texas to Roger Lee Snow and Novice Opal Roberts Snow.

Jesse loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed roping, hunting, and fishing. His favorite saying, which he always told his grandchildren was, “Cowboys don’t cry.”

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Lou (Latham) Snow; their children, Tammy Guess and husband, Johnny, and Denna Pettit and husband, Roy; his brothers and sister, T. L. Snow of Hatch, NM; Bob Snow of Chandler, TX; Doil Snow of Los Cruces, NM; Ray Snow of Cedar Creek, TX; and Richard Snow of Deming, NM; and Betty Hobbs of Deming, NM. Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren Shawn Pettit, and Cody Lee Guess, and wife, Casi; and great grandchild Peyton Pettit.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Riverdale Cemetery in Kent County, Texas, with Danny Williams officiating. Pallbearers are Jerald Dicky, Gary Nettelton, Jimmy Pickins, Gerald Crawford, Sid Crawford, and Charles Arnold.
