Kenneth Roy Rogers, 73, of Midland passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013. Kenneth was born February 11, 1940 to Roy A. Rogers and Mildred D. Rogers. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and a Retired Midland Police Officer. He was employed at Target. Kenneth traveled Europe and all of the US and even lived in Italy. He had a love and passion for motorcycles and belonged to a Christian Motorcycle group.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy A. Rogers and Mildred D. Rogers; maternal grandparents, Espie and Lottie Eastridge; paternal grandparents, Commadore and Birdie Rogers.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sisters, Kimberly K. Rogers and Sharon Rogers Mason; nephews, Matthew Mason and Craig Mason; nieces: Regina Barajas, Jessica Montes, Kalah Pahl and Halee Rogers; great nieces: Melissa Mason, Kara Mason and Karly Mason; great nephews, Kevin Mason and Weston Montes.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 21, 2013 between the hours of 10:00am until 9:00pm at the funeral home. A funeral service has been scheduled for 11:00am at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 22, 2013. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
