What a "hoot" you were, and still are, probably running about the streets of heaven in "rag-a-muffin" style, wearing a "smokey bear" hat, bike shorts, and white crew socks, as only you could do, fearlessly! I truly miss your "old school" ways and have many fond memories of our pounding the bricks on night shift. You gave hope to all of us young-'uns in knowing that this job is a calling. It was a joy to serve with you.

I was saddened to hear that good ole Sgt Rogers passed away. I had pleasure of working under him as a police officer 20 years ago. He was fair, honest, devoted and a great supervisor to serve with at MPD. He left many great memories with me as a police officer and a young man. Wish I could have connected sooner and disappointed to not attend his service.
