Kevin Daniel Fields

Kevin attended elementary school through high school in South Korea, Germany, Japan, and New Boston. He continued his education at Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas. It was there where he met his soulmate.

Kevin and Lynette married on October 24, 2003, to this union had four children.

Kevin worked as an Army civilian for over 20 years and was able to travel and live abroad with his family in Japan and South Korea before settling back in his hometown New Boston, Texas. Kevin and his family relocated to Midland, his wife’s hometown, in 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife, Lynette of Midland, Texas; two sons, Bishop of South Korea, and Logan of Prairie View, Texas; two daughters, Alexia and Olivia of Midland Texas; two aunts, Joyce Fields Brown of New Boston, Texas, and Deborah Young of Midland, Texas; uncle, Terry Young (Donna) of Rowlett, Texas; brother-in-law Wesley Young (Toya) of Midland, Texas; cousins, Tonya Young and Tara Young of Midland, Texas; many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Special friends: Jeffrey Baugh, Ryan Lacey, Antoine Lathan, Lamont Nash, and Aundre Walker.

The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, October, 2, 2025 from 4-8pm at Ellis Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel Friday, October 3, 2025 at 1pm with Reverend Bryant Phelps officiating.
