Kyndall Rylee Ramos, known affectionately as “Kynny,” passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 17. Born to Tasha and Joel Ramos on June 11, 2008, Kyndall was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. A senior-to-be at Legacy High School in Midland, Texas, Kyndall was set to graduate in the Class of 2026. Her potential was limitless, and her future was filled with promise, though it was tragically cut short.
Kyndall had a heart full of love for her family, her friends, and her faith. Despite her bashful nature, Kyndall’s sunshine always shone through. Her best friend, Sophia, was her constant companion, and together they shared countless memories. Kyndall made friends easily and formed deep connections with many, radiating warmth and kindness wherever she went.
Her hobbies reflected her vibrant spirit and passions. Kyndall was an avid fan of Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, often immersing herself in their music, and she was a devoted fan of Gilmore Girls. Kyndall’s love for creativity was evident in her love for drawing, while her faith was central to her life. She spent time reading her Bible and worked tirelessly on strengthening her relationship with God, seeking peace and understanding in her faith.
Kyndall also loved spending time with friends, whether it was hanging out at Target or simply being with her family. Above all, her adoration for her family was unmatched. Her love for her sister, Devyn Smith, and her extended family was a constant source of joy, and she treasured every moment spent together.
Kyndall is survived by her sister, Devyn Smith; her grandmother, Tonya Helms; her cousins, Jacob Ramos, Jonny Ramos, Timothy Ramos, Karli Ramos, Chloe Ramos, Celeste Helms, Hailey Chavarria, Xavier Ramirez, Hayden Crossland, Jackson Cabrera, and Toni Guerra; her uncles, Romy Ramos and Steve Ramos; and her aunts, Theresa Ramos and Kristeen Ramos. Kyndall has now been reunited in heaven with her mother and father, Tasha and Joel Ramos, as well as her grandparents, Raymond Ramos Sr., Maria Sanchez, Wayne Helms Jr., Shirley and Freddy Byrom, and Belvin Redus.

Though Kyndall’s time with us was brief, her impact was profound. She will forever be remembered for her sweetness, her love for life, and her unwavering faith. Kyndall’s legacy will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
