She was born September 14, 1962 in Seminole Texas. Her father L. M. Blake worked in the oil field, and her mother Peggy L Blake dedicated her life to taking care of her family. During high school and after, Laurie modeled clothing and hair. She found that modeling just was not for her and devoted her life to her family.
She was a loving mother of three. She is survived by her daughter Crystal K Pagett Pierce and two sons, Christopher Blake Pagett and Steven Cory Pagett and her first Grandson Ayden Blake Pagett. She will be remembered by a loving former husband of 27 years, Steven Keith Pagett and also her two sisters Reva K Blake Langley, and Kayla Richards and two brothers Michael Roy Blake and Billy Marvin Blake.
Laurie Ann Pagett’s life would be too short to many people but those who were touched by her heart understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Memorial Services are scheduled at 1:00pm Friday, March 25, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Brother Bob Porterfield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered online at www.ellisfunerals.com.
