Lemoine Hart

Lemoine Hart, 87, of Midland passed away on May 6, 2013 at Senior Care of Midland. Lemoine was born April 27, 1926 to William B. and Minnie Lee Shirley in Cottonwood, Texas. She was educated in Cottonwood and Cross Plains, Texas. In 1947 she married James D. Hart. Jay preceded her in death in 2004. Lemoine was a beloved wife, adored mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and eight sisters.

Lemoine is survived by her daughters: Jana Haugh and husband Jan of Fort Worth, Texas; Jeri Elton and husband Bill of Midland, Texas and Jeana Smith and husband Eric of Midland, Texas; one son, Rodney Jay Hart and wife Lesley of Corpus Christi, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the funeral home between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm. A funeral service has been scheduled at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in the Chapel at Ellis Funeral Home with Reverend Mackey Pitts officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. The family would like to express their most heartfelt appreciation to Compass Hospice and the many caregivers that loved Mom, “Nana” so much.
