Lenora Margaret Crawford Pike

Lenora grew up in Snyder and later moved to Midland. She married C.J. Pike in Big Spring, Texas on July 2, 1938. They were married for sixty-nine years.

Lenora loved working in the church, teaching children and a couple’s class later in her life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Lenora is preceded in death by her husband C.J. Pike; her parents; brothers, Oscar, and Herman.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy and his wife Pat Pike of Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico; daughter, Alene Carter and husband Keith of Lamesa, Texas; brothers, Carl and J.D. of Midland, Texas; sister, Leora Spann of Colorado City, Texas; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren; as well as other family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014, with funeral services commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Ellis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
