Loreitta H. Black, slipped the bonds of this earth on August 11, 2018 and joined her Heavenly Father and her dear husband Harold N. Black. Left behind to enjoy the stories of her life and the influence she had on them are her brother, Fred Hall; her beloved only child, Tammy B. Click and her husband Marty; and grandchildren, Austin Click and Tiffany C. Willis.
Loreitta H. Black’s roots reach deep into the fields of Midland, Texas. She was born just after the Great Depression in McCamey, Texas. In addition to the work of farm life, of which there was always plenty, the Hall family held the Church of Christ as central to their lives and attended congregations in Odessa and Midland. Loreitta H. Black last worshipped at Fairmont Park Church of Christ in Midland, Texas.
These few words tell who Loreitta H. Black was related to, but the real story is the life she lived. It is best summed up by the opening of the Old Testament to Proverbs 31: 10-31 where you will read the virtues of a noble woman. Certainly, this wonderful strong lady possessed these virtues. And as the scriptures state, “Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.”
If you would like to pay your respects to Loreitta H. Black, her family invites you to join them for her service which will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Fairmont Park Church of Christ. Church attire is requested for attendees.
