Maggie Stigen

Helen Marie Chappall Stigen was born to Marshall P. Chappall and Helen Louise McClain Chappall on April 29, 1954 in Ralls, TX. After a month long fight with lung cancer Maggie left behind many family and friends to go to heaven on February 12, 2016.

Maggie graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1973. She worked for Midland Central Appraisal District for 30 plus years where she made lifelong friends. Maggie will always be remembered for her marvelous cooking, beautiful gardens, and creative mind.

Maggie was preceded in death by her father Marshall P. Chappall and brother-in-law Tommy Mullens.

She is survived by her mother Helen Chappall of Midland, TX. Her husband Jerry ‘J.J.’ Lands Jr., daughter Winde Stegall and husband Michael and their two children Elizabeth and Luke all of Midland, TX. Daughter Christy Bourke of Kansas City, Missouri, bonus daughter Annalise Lands of Midland, TX, Brother David and his wife Bobby Chappall of Midland, TX and sister Sharon Mullens of Paris, TX. Nieces and Nephews, Kim Mullens, Tammy and Jimmy Mullens, Jeremey and Heather Windsor, Jonathan and Allison Connor, Nathan and Krista Chappall. Great nieces and nephews, Teia and Josh Mullens, Ava and Bre Windsor, Connor Chappall, and Adrien, Christian, and Katie Chappall.

A memorial service will be held at Ellis Funeral Home in Midland, Texas on Tuesday February 16, 2016 at 10 am.
