

Margaret Louise Hejl, 91, of Midland passed away on July 15, 2013. She was born on July 31, 1921 in Belfast, TN to Charles and Lena Mae Lancaster. Louise attended David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, and then transferred to Abilene Christian College where she graduated in 1943. She was a member of Fairmont Park Church of Christ, where she taught 5th and 6th grade girls’ Bible classes for 40 years. Louise was a loving wife and devoted mother, adored grandmother and great grandmother. She was a loyal friend and a faithful Christian and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charles Lancaster, and her husband, William Goodrich Hejl.
Those left behind to honor and cherish her memory are her sons, David and wife Barbara Hejl of Grapevine, TX, and Charlie and wife Janie Hejl of Austin, TX; her daughter, Dorcas Hejl of Abilene, TX; her grandchildren: Bradley Hejl of Dallas, TX, Brooke Parker and husband Chris of Marion, AR, Brandye Benavides and husband Brian of Flower Mound, TX, Bethany Davidson and husband Tim of Seal Beach, CA, Jeffery Hejl of Austin, TX, Luke Hejl and wife Sara of Ft. Worth, TX, Jackson Hejl and wife Allissa of Edmond, OK, and Kelley Leintz and husband Chris of Ft. Worth, TX. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren: Hunter Parker, Kayla Parker and Amberlyn Parker all of Marion, AR, Jenny Benavides and Anna Benavides both of Flower Mound, TX, Samantha Davidson and Micah Davidson both of Seal Beach, CA, Landon Hejl and Mason Hejl both of Austin, TX, and Cooper Hejl and Juliet Hejl both of Ft. Worth, TX.
A funeral service has been scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Fairmont Park Church of Christ at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
