She loved to spend her time watching birds, working on crossword puzzles, and enjoyed camping but her favorite was being a mom, housewife and grandmother.
Marilyn is survived by her sons Noland Lee Potter and wife Melisa and Dustin Potter, all of Midland; daughters, Lawana Woodruff and husband Robin of Pahrump, NV and Angela Townsend and husband James of Midland; brother, Marvin Dale Davis of Arlington; sister, Rebecca Ann Roberson of Huntsville; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Oland Lee Potter; son, Rusty Thomas Potter; parents, James Edwin and Betty Jo Davis; brother, Jimmy Davis; and great grandson, Mayson Lee Richardson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 10 AM at Ellis Resthaven Funeral Home.
