Leslie Marvin Blake, 77, of Midland, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 19, 2011.He was born on July 7, 1933 to Albert Monroe Blake and Soni Ada Carter. He married Peggy L. Flowers Blake on May 5, 1961. Mr. Blake was a loving and devoted father and exceptional grandfather who loved fishing and was a very hard worker. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, daughter, four brothers and two sisters.Those left behind to cherish his memory are sons: Billy Marvin Blake and Michael Roy Blake both of Midland; daughters Reva K. Blake Langley (Larry) of Seminole; Kayla L. Blake Richards (Robert) of Midland. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, three sisters and one brother in law. Memorial Services are scheduled at 1:00pm Friday, March 25, 2011 at 1St Baptist Church with Brother Bob Porterfield officiating. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Epilepsy; Make a Wish Foundation, or Cancer Sociality.
