She spent most of her life as a housewife and mother. After the death of her husband she went to work for Centers for Children and Families and then to Key Energy before retiring. Mary enjoyed going to casinos and was a member of Eastern Star and the West Side Church of Christ. She loved being with her family and loved fishing, bowling and yard work.
Mary is preceded in death by her father Marvin McBee, her mother Emma McBee, husband Bill Brand, brother Marvin "Duane" McBee, daughter Sherry Brookshire, grand daughter Mandi Porter and long time friend Edwin "Ed" Taylor.
Mary is survived by her daughters Diana Reynolds and husband Randy of Midland and Teresa Myers of Midland, her grandchildren Billy Brookshire, Gary Brookshire, Carlisa Gill, Tedesa McCall, Shawn Reynolds and Tyler Reynolds. And numerous great and great great grandchildren.
A visitation is scheduled for Thursday 07/20/2023 from 4-8pm at Ellis Funeral Home 4616 N. Big Spring St. Midland Texas 79705 and a funeral service 07/21/2023 at 10am in the chapel at Ellis Funeral Home.
