

Mary was born in Fall River, MA on September 28, 1924 to Felix Telesphore Savard and Ann Elizabeth Hines Savard. Mary graduated from B.M.C Durfee High School and attended Higgins Commercial Machine School for two years. She married Wilmer Glenn Brice on December 20, 1947. Mary worked as an Executive Secretary at the Veteran’s Administration in Wichita, Kansas and Los Angeles, California for 22 years.
Mary’s special love was children. You could always find her in the middle of a group of children while they listened to her tell stories. She was a great story teller and wrote some stories for her children and grandchildren.
Mary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and served in many leadership capacities with the church. She also worked with Need to Read here in Midland for several years.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Betty Anne Tague and Mary Lou McDonald both of Midland. Her grandchildren, Daniel Tague of Winchester, VA, Edward Tague of Las Cruces, NM, Nathaniel Tague of Riverdale, UT, Jonathan Tague of Midland, Laurianne Tague Hardman of Grantsville, UT, Anne-Marie Tague White of Midland, Brice McDonald, Stuart McDonald, Trevor McDonald, and Elizabeth-Anne McDonald all of Midland. Christian McDonald is serving a mission in Salt Lake City, UT. Mary has 24 surviving great-grandchildren in Winchester, VA, Las Cruces, NM, Riverdale and Grantsville, UT, Grainger, TX, Elizabethtown, KY, and Midland, TX.
Pallbearers for Mary will be Daniel, Edward, and Jonathan Tague, Brice, Stewart, and Trevor McDonald.
A visitation will be held on Thursday January 24, 2013 from 6pm to 8pm at Ellis Funeral Home. Services will be at 1pm Friday January 25, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day- Saints on Gateway in Midland with Bishop Paul Grandy conducting.
