Mary Alice Curry Carney

She is survived by her son Brian and his wife Melissa of Midland, Texas and her daughter Cara Arthur and her husband Travis of Austin, Texas, and by her grandchildren Blake and Madeline Carney.

Pallbearers will be: Bert Johnson, Dr. Frank Kasman, Joseph Marro, J.D. Luckie, Billy Munn, and Don Tomlin.

The Carney’s are grateful for their thoughtful friends and neighbors and the compassionate, professional help of caregivers: Pat McCalister, Stephanie Lister, Syretta Evans, Shirley Barnes, Idia Herrera and Hospice of Midland; Dr. Raphael Pollock, Dr. Don Baumann, and their staffs at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. David Watkins, Rachell Diaz RN, and the staff of Allison Cancer Center.

A wake will be held Friday, January 13, 2012 from 5:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, January 14th 2012, at 9:00a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 1906 W. Texas Avenue, Midland 79701.
