Mary Evelyn Toon, 74, of Midland passed away on February 26, 2013. She was born on August 14, 1938 in Frankston, Texas. Mary loved to bake, paint pictures, ceramics, crochet, do cross word puzzles and sew. She was very crafty.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Farrell Toon.
Mary is survived by two sons and one daughter: Curtis and wife, Erin Toon, of Colorado, David Toon of Colorado and Laura and husband, Greg Sly, of Midland, TX; five grandchildren: Ashley Scott, of Midland, TX, Sarah Barraza and husband, Brandon, of Midland, TX, Curtis Burns, of Midland, TX, Michael Toon, of Colorado and Dallas Toon, of Colorado; one great-grandson, Mathew Barraza, of Midland, TX; one brother, Oran and wife Betty Rainwater, of Springdale, Arkansas and two sisters, Jean Oliver, of Seagoville, TX and Joyce Simpson, of Midland, TX.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 28, 2013 between the hours of 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. A graveside service has been scheduled for 11:00am at Resthaven Memorial Park on Friday, March 1, 2013. Online condolences may be offered at www.ellisfunerals.com.
