Noel Chad Bingham, “Chad” aged 53, passed away peacefully in his sleep November 30, 2022. He was born November 11, 1969, at the U.S. Army Hospital in Wurzburg, Germany, where his Father was stationed. Chad was raised in Carrollton, Texas, and graduated from Texas Tech University in 1992 with a B.S. in Range and Wildlife Management. “Guns Up” he would like to say, watching Texas Tech football games. Chad had great respect for those that chose a profession to serve others. He married Suzanne Cowley on July, 1, 2006. Chad retired from the Midland Fire Department on November 6, 2019, after 24 years, doing what he loved – fighting fire and helping others. His favorite pastime was hunting and enjoying the quiet of the deer lease. He was a fierce protector of his family. He loved to watch his daughter, Bailey, run in track/cross country meets and his son, Daniel, play baseball. Chad could be counted on to wear his jeans and boots no matter where he was, and he would give the shirt off his back to help anyone if needed. He had a very strong faith and is now sitting at the table the Lord had prepared for him. He will be missed more than words can express! Chad is survived by his parents, Dennis and Patty, brother Grant, wife Suzanne, and children Bailey and Daniel. A public visitation for Chad will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ellis Resthaven Funeral Home, 4616 N. Big Spring Street, Midland, Texas. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December, 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at the First Baptist Church, 2104 W. Louisiana Ave., Midland, Texas. Memorials can be made to: Professional Firefighters Association of Midland Benevolence Fund, 105 N. G. Street, Midland, TX 79701, or Midland Municipal Employee Scholarship Fund, www.midlandmesf.com.
