Born in Pecos, Texas on March 31, 1953, He was the son of Jack and Thelma Gilly.
Norman grew up in Midland where he dedicated his life to helping the people around him. He retired as a welder in 2016. He enjoyed horses, guitars, playing country music with his buddies, and anyone who knew him knew that he loved history. Above everything else Norman loved his family.
He is survived by his two children, Erica Gilly in Midland and Jason Gilly of Oklahoma. Grandchildren Emily Stamper and Husband Brody Stamper of Oklahoma, Nick Gilly and Kayla Gilly of Oklahoma. Great Grandchildren Tanner Lee Stamper and Katie Stamper, one sister Sherri Gilly of Midland.
