She was a Texas girl, spending her childhood in Corpus Christi, Rockport, and finally Ft. Stockton, graduating from high school there. She attended North Texas State University. Patty was spicy, feisty, opinionated, and funny. She was also tender-hearted and loved her people deeply. She spent most of her work life helping to care for others at places like Timberlawn Hospital in Dallas, Midland MHMR, and Area Agency on Aging. Her proudest legacies are her children, Rachel and Adam and his wife Laura, and her grandchildren, Lillie and Joshua Matile and Emersyn Eshom. She was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her next granddaughter, Everly, in just a couple of months.
She is now reunited with her mom and dad, her cherished first grandson Mario Matile and a host of much-loved family and friends.
In addition to Rachel, Adam and Laura, Lillie, Josh, Emersyn, and soon-to-arrive Everly, Patty leaves behind a sister, Debbie Siegmund, and brother-in-law, Eric, aunt, Kathy Barham, and many much-loved cousins. She also leaves great friends that she loved like family.
We will miss Patty’s humor and her love. In her memory, you can cheer on her beloved Texas Aggie football team!
