Patricia Ann Moore

Patricia Ann Moore of Midland, Texas, previously a resident of San Angelo, Texas, passed away peacefully to be with our Heavenly Father on October 18, 2014. Patricia Ann was born on August 14, 1946. She graduated from Robinson High School where she was the captain of the girls Varsity Basketball Team, Head Cheerleader and played volleyball. Patricia met her future husband at Robinson High where they were high school sweet hearts and crowned Mr. and Ms. RHS.

After high school, Patricia wed Kenneth Joe Moore Sr. to whom she was married for 46 years and who preceded her in death. During her career, Patricia worked at Mason Petroleum, San Angelo Abstract Company and Permian Abstract Company.

Patricia cherished her children and grandchildren, as reflected in her home filled with photos and keepsakes. She was a talented crafter, took pride in keeping a neat and organized home, and went to great lengths to make sure the extended family stayed connected. Patricia enjoyed her time with her family and friends, whether it was hosting gatherings or organizing reunions. Patricia was admired for her spirited and unique personality, as well as her willingness to be helpful. Though she will be deeply missed, we all take great solace in knowing that she is reunited with the one true love of her life, her husband; sweet hearts reunited.

Patricia is survived by her three children, Stacy Whiting Geitgey and her husband, Jim, Kimberlie Stellman and her husband, Nicholas, and Ken Moore Jr. and his wife, Kristy; and her grandchildren, Derek Brian Whiting, Kenneth Chandler Whiting, Meredith Ann Whiting, Ashley Wynn Taylor, Grant Lassetter Taylor, Brooke Elizabeth Taylor, Adam W Moore, Toby Moore, Tyler Moore and a precious one on the way.

A visitation will take place on Friday, October 24, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Ellis Funeral Home, located at 801 Andrews Highway, in Midland, Texas. A memorial service will follow on Saturday, October 25, in the chapel at the Ellis Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Resthaven North.
