Patsy Louise Stewart Savage, 65, of Brownwood, Texas passed away January 1, 2017. She was born in Great Bend, Kansas on January 5th, 1951 to James and Norma Stewart. She graduated from Spearville High School in 1969. Patsy and her former husband Frank Savage had two sons, Brian Savage and Jeffrey Savage. She worked at Rogers Ford in Midland for 35 years. Patsy started there as a receptionist and worked her way up the ladder as the office manager. She was quite the Mother Hen to all of the Ford family. The Ford family became her second family during her working years and had continued to be a part of her life.
Patsy retired in April of 2013 from Rogers Ford. After the passing of her father she and her mother moved to Lake Brownwood. She cared for her mother and was able to live near her sisters and enjoy their company. While living in Brownwood she enjoyed tending to her flowers, mowing, cooking and caring for her friend's children. She was at pleasure when her boys would visit- she took joy in preparing breakfast for their day of fishing. She very much enjoyed being at the lake. Patsy deeply loved her friends and family. Her grandchildren were her heart. She was strong in her faith and enjoyed church and attending a church no matter where she was visiting. She loved the Lord and is surely loving the room He has prepared for her today.
Patsy is preceded in death by (father) James Oda Stewart, (grandparents) Mike and Juanita Smith, and William and Emily Stewart.
Patsy is survived by two sons, Brian Savage and Jeffrey Savage; granddaughters, Gabriella Savage, Emily Savage and Madison Savage; daughter in law, Kathy Savage; her mother, Norma Lea Stewart; her sisters, Vickie Waisner and Kim Stewart; her brother Craig Stewart; sister in law, Nora Stewart; brothers in law, Ray Waisner, Edwin Stewart, and many, many nieces and nephews, cousins and family.
The family will greet visitors at Ellis Funeral Home on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
