Pauleen Nichols Routh

Pauleen Routh, 84, of Midland passed away on November 20, 2012. Pauleen was born on May 30, 1928 in Elmer, Oklahoma to Raymond B. Nichols and Lena Velma Beach. She moved to Midland in 1955 where she started her family. Pauleen worked at Trinity Towers for 10 years until her retirement. She was active in taking care of Jewish people in need. Pauleen was very supportive of and gave to the Military Veterans. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved them with all her heart regardless of what they did. Its not blood that makes a family its love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a great granddaughter.

Those left behind to honor and cherish her memory are her son; David Trea McCoard; daughter Kim McCoard; grandchildren; Jimmy, Samantha and David Cunningham; great grandchildren; Kenneth, Zachary, Breanna, Bianca, Ashton, Nathen and Coca. She also leaves behind a niece; Sheila Chambless; nephew, Ronnie Brice; sister-in-law, Bernice and a cousin Darrell.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 23 between the hours of 6-8pm at the funeral home. Funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday, November 24 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel at 10am.
