Rachel  was  my Aunt and my Mother's young sister.  She was always the "fun Aunt" in my childhood years.  We became rather close after my  Mom's   passing but lost track for the past ten years as she resided in Texas and I in North Carolina.  I have been trying unsuccessfully to contact her for the past  several years.  Two years ago I talked to her via telephone.  Although she was severely hearing impaired on the call, she said she was doing OK and gave me an address to correspond with her.  The address was incorrect and my letter was returned unopened.  I just found out of her passing today - more than a year later.   I am saddened that her  caretakers  did not  contact me.   Aunt Rae was a loving Aunt and will be missed.
