Rae Nell Stark, 64, of Midland, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 in Midland, Texas. She was born on January 25, 1954 to Billy Ray Stark and Betty Marie Stark (Johnson) in Midland. She is preceded in death by her father Billy Ray Stark, and son Michael Stark.

She is survived by one son Thomas Stark, three grandsons Jayden, Grayson, Wilson Stark; mother Betty Stark of Lubbock, Texas; one sister Debbie Oien (Steve) of Lubbock, Texas; one brother Bill Stark (Anna) of Midland, Texas. She is also survived by one nephew and four nieces Stephanie Oien Smith (Damion) of Midland, Texas, Sarah Oien Truelove (Gregory) of Herforst, Germany, David Stark (Keisha) Of Midland, Texas Amanda Stark of Midland, Texas, Amber Stark Brooks (Brandon); and seven great nieces and nephews Kaylee Smith, Austin Smith, Audrey Truelove, Steven Truelove, Bryceson Boss, Tatum Stark, and Bennett Stark.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Ellis Funeral Home from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Ellis Funeral Home at 1:00p.m. with Pastor Robb Freeman. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Biography

Rae Nell Stark was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Rae will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

       She was the daughter of Billy Ray Stark and Betty Marie Stark (Johnson). Rae grew up in Midland, Texas.

      Rae was raised with two siblings. She had a sister, Debbie and a brother, Bill. Rae was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.

      Rae worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Rae was blessed with two children, two sons, Michael and Thomas. Another blessing for Rae was the gift of three grandsons, Jayden, Grayson, and Wilson.

       She is survived by one son Thomas Stark, three grandsons Jayden, Grayson, Wilson Stark; mother Betty Stark of Lubbock, Texas; one sister Debbie Oien (Steve) of Lubbock, Texas; one brother Bill Stark (Anna) of Midland, Texas. She is also survived by one nephew and four nieces Stephanie Oien Smith (Damion) of Midland, Texas, Sarah Oien Truelove (Gregory) of Herforst, Germany, David Stark (Keisha) Of Midland, Texas Amanda Stark of Midland, Texas, Amber Stark Brooks (Brandon); and seven great nieces and nephews Kaylee Smith, Austin Smith, Audrey Truelove, Steven Truelove, Bryceson Boss, Tatum Stark, and Bennett Stark. Services were held at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Rae was laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas.

      Simply stated, Rae was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Rae leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Rae Nell Stark.
