Rene H Rios

Rene built a long and loyal career at Warren CAT in Midland, Texas, where he worked for over 18 years. His commitment and reliability earned him the respect of colleagues and the trust of those he served. He took great pride in his work and was known for his steadfast presence and strong work ethic.

Beyond his professional life, Rene was deeply devoted to his faith. As an active member of St. Ann's Church in Midland, he played a role in expanding access to worship by helping bring Spanish-language mass services to the parish. His involvement in church ministries reflected his desire to serve others and strengthen his community through faith.

Rene also found joy in fast cars, sports and was an enthusiastic supporter of Aggie football and the Dallas Cowboys. Whether watching games with loved ones or cheering from afar, he embraced the camaraderie and excitement that came with being a fan.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Rivera Rios, children Mariana Mayoral, Damaris Mayoral, Jose Mayoral, daughter Cynthia (Rios) Lopez, and son Robert Rios; mother Martha Morales Romeo and husband Ruben Romero; Brothers Carlos Roberto Rios and wife Renee "Piki" Rios, and Jose Marino Rios and wife Kristin as well as numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Rene was preceded in death by his father, Roberto Rios.

A man of quiet strength and enduring devotion, Rene leaves behind a legacy of service—to his family, his church, and his workplace—that will be remembered with gratitude by all who knew him.

May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing. A Viewing will be held on September 9, 2025, from 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM at Ellis Resthaven Funeral Home 4616 N. Big Spring in Midland. Rosary will begin at 7:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on September 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church 1906 W Texas Ave. Reception to follow after mass from 11:00AM to 12:30PM
