He was born May 25, 1960 to Malcolm Robert MacCurdy and Julia Mae Ross in Midland TX. He was a long time resident of Midland and worked as an auto mechanic for many years even in the last days while he was sick. He is remembered by those who loved him as being a happy, simple free loving man who dearly loved his late wife Sherri and dogs, Chase, Giggi, and Hope. He loved family, friends, fishing, music, and helping people fix their cars.
Left to cherish his memory are four siblings; Chris MacCurdy of Carrollton, TX, Christina MacCurdy of Florence, AR, Cathy Custer of Midland, TX, and Beth Cater of Trout Creek, MT.
He is proceeded in death by his wife Sherri Lynn MacCurdy, his sister Laurie MacCurdy and his parents. Pallbearers will be Joe Niger, David Jordan, Todd Crawford, Jim Gregory, Hondo Schneider and Greg Travland, Phil Hinojos.
A memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Andrew Adams on Monday morning March 9th at 10am at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel.
