

Sally "Mimi" Ann Roye, age 76, of Gardendale, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2025, in Odessa, Texas. Born on February 26, 1949, in Durango, Colorado, Sally spent her early years in Silverton before settling in West Texas, where she made her lifelong home.
Lovingly known as "Mimi," Sally found her greatest joy in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them and took pride in the family she helped build and nurture.
Sally lived a full and vibrant life. In her younger years, she enjoyed the thrill of motorcycle riding and was a proud member of the Permian Basin Motorcycle Association (PBMA). She had a passion for reading, crafting, and essential oils, but nothing brought her more happiness than time spent with her loved ones.
A faithful member of the West Texas Cowboy Church in Gardendale, Sally had a heart for community and connection. She never passed up the chance to meet an old friend for lunch or lend a listening ear. Her kindness, warm spirit, and welcoming nature touched everyone she met.
Sally was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Tony Roye; her children: Kerry Hinsley (Kelly), Jennifer Trice (Jimmy), and Shawn Hinsley (Christie); and her stepchildren: Sean Roye, Bryan Roye, Kim Monroe, Michelle Harris, and Renee Curtiss. She is also survived by her brothers: Mike Dickman (Elaine), Kirk Dickman (Peggy),Larry Dickman (Joy) and Jimmy Dickman (Lynn).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Edna Dickman; her sister, Judy Cooper; her brother, Robert Dickman; and her first husband, Windell Hinsley.
Sally will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, at Ellis Funeral Home, 4616 N. Big Spring, Midland, TX from 4pm-8pm. A chapel service will be held at Ellis Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 1, at 10am with a committal at Resthaven Memorial Park to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choosing in celebration and remembrance of the life of Sally “Mimi” Ann Roye.
