Sandra Goeth Shrum

Sandra Shrum, 69, of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. She was born on April 18, 1942 to Georgia and Raymond Goeth. She was raised in Seagraves, TX, and was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, W.S. and Lois Shrum, her husband James Wesley Shrum, her son, Wesley Harold Shrum, her daughter, Pamela Fisher, granddaughter, Brittany Bright, and grandson, Wesley Martin Shrum.

She is survived by her daughters: Debbie and husband, Doug Gressett of Mineral Wells; Brenda and husband, Mark Bright of Midland; and Gina and husband, Weldon McKinney of Midland; son-in-law, Ronnie Taylor of Graham, twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren on the way, brother-in-laws, who she always thought of as brothers: William “Floyd” Shrum and wife, Carol, of Gardendale, Jerry Shrum and wife, Darla, of Bandera, and John Shrum and wife, Linda, of Seminole, a very special sister-in-law whom she adored and thought of as her only sister, Kathy Shrum of Seminole, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Family will welcome friends at Ellis Funeral Home (801 Andrews Highway, Midland, Texas 79701) on Thursday, February 9, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service is planned for Friday, February 10, 2012, at Ellis Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
