Scott Warren Sellers

Midland, Texas - Scott Warren Sellers, 72, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 after a short illiness.

He was born February 4, 1940 in Cistem, Texas to Travis and Avis Sellers. Scott graduated in 1957 from Leakey, Texas. Served in the Navy from 1957-1961. Worked for Bendix Satellite Tracking Station for NASA in Ecuador.Went to work for Texaco as a Electrical Technician for 35 years before retiring.

Scott was a loving father, brother, grandfather and dear friend to many.

He was preceded in death by wife, Rita Sellers, sister, Nancy Sellers, and parents, Travis and Avis Sellers.

Survivors include three sons, Warren Sellers and wife, Renee of Midland, Texas, Rickey Summerlin and wife, Lori and Randy Summerlin and wife, Ada of San Angelo, Texas. Daughter Valerie Dawnette Fox and husband, Rusty of Pipe Creek, Texas. Sister Virginia Sellers Coston of Paris, Texas. Granddaugher Candace Awbrey of Vidor, Texas, Grandson Trevor Sellers of Midland, Texas and several other step grandchildren that he loved very much. 5 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services have been scheduled for 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Highway, Midland, Texas.
