Steven Floyd “Steve” Rock, 58, of Midland went home to be with his Heavenly Father, Sunday, September 15, 2013 in Midland. He was born August 9, 1955 in Abilene, TX to Floyd Eldon Rock, Jr. and Lettie Howle Rock. He served in the Army 82nd Airborne. He was a long time resident of Midland.
Steven is survived by his wife, Renita Rock of Chesapeake, VA; daughters, Kristen and Jenica Rock of Chesapeake, VA; two special grandchildren, Corbin Knight and Raif Engemann of Chesapeake , VA; mother, Lettie Howle Rock of Midland; brother, David Rock of Midland; sisters, Becky Welty of Midland and Sandra K. Carr of San Angelo, TX.
Family will welcome friends to the Ellis Funeral Home Tuesday September 17, 2013 from 6-8 pm.
Services will be held on Wednesday September, 18, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel at Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Hwy, Midland, TX under the direction of Brother Bob Porterfield. Burial will follow at Resthaven North Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed at www.ellisfunerals.com.
