

Stewart Passed away peacefully early in the morning on April 22, 2015, after a lengthy Illness
Stewart was born in Miami, Texas. He graduated from Miami High School. Stewart went on to graduate From Tarleton State University.
Stewart was also a Veteran of the Korean War. He served in the U.S. Army. His Last Duty was” Company A 81st Armed Calvary Bn.1st AD, Fort Polk, LA”. He was very proud to have served the country he loved. Honorably Discharged 24th day January 1957
Stewart worked for Farmers Insurance Group in Midland Texas as an Agent of sales He received many awards from the company over his career. Stewart retired with his wife Carol whom was also his office partner after 25 years of quality service to the company.
After retiring he had moved to West Stanton with his wife so he could work outside in the Heat. This is what he always loved working with his hands and doing everything to be with his wife Carol, that was their goal in life (being together). They loved planting, gathering, and working outside together and if you were there at the right time you might get a Jar of goodies.
Stewart was preceded in death by his Loving Wife Carol Gordon, one Grandson Cole Fowler and Stewart’s parents Fredrick W. Gordon & Elizabeth M. Gordon.
Stewart (PaPa) is survived by three Sons, Jim Gordon of Hawaii; Steve Gordon of Eastland Texas; Danny Clark and Wife Barbara of Coahoma Texas; one Daughter Renee Clark of Midland Texas; one Brother Fredrick Gordon and Wife Carol of Miami Texas; two sister-in-laws Connie Rogers, Becky Tucker; eight grandkids, ten great grandkids, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing for family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Friday April 24, 2015 at Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Hwy, Midland, TX 79701
The Funeral services for Charles Stewart Gordon will be 3:00pm graveside Saturday April 25, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705
