She married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Waisner on May 25, 1968 in Homer, Michigan. They shared 62 years of love. Together they have three wonderful children, Darren, Daryl and Amber.
Vickie retired from Ingersoll-Rand after more than 30 years. She and Raymond moved to Lake Brownwood to enjoy retirement with their family and friends.
Vickie was known for her love for shopping especially Black Friday's. She loved home decorating, time spent with her best friend Nancy Plunk (Cinderella), and traveling except to California, but her truest passion was her family. She did her best work as a beloved wife, Mama, and Nanny.
Vickie is survived by her husband Raymond Waisner of 56 years, her children; Darren Waisner and wife Yolanda, Daryl Waisner, Amber Locke and wife Kelly Gosnell. Grandchildren; Paul Estrada and wife Leidy, Kourtney Parker and husband Brandon, Kenzi Smith and husband Jeff, Tripp Locke and wife Tiffany, and Kayson Waisner. Great grandchildren; Ashley, Adriana, Triston, Koven, Bristol, Achilles, Grayson, Emersyn, Ares, Axton and Belle. Sister; Kim Stewart and husband Ed, and brother Craig Stewart and wife Nora. Also, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and an abundance of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Norma and James Stewart. Sister; Patsy Savage, Niece; Jamie Bloom, Granddaughter; Jennifer Estrada, and beloved cat; Missy.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, August 17, 2024, 6-8 pm at Ellis Funeral Home, 4616 N Big Spring Street, Midland, TX. A service to celebrate Vickie’s life will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 10 am at Ellis Funeral Home with graveside to immediately follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens, 6800 TX-349 Midland, TX.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Associations or Midland Medical Lodge in Vickie’s honor.
Pallbearers will be Brian Baker, Brian Savage, Bryce Seale, Jeff Savage, Micah Stewart, Mike Ramon and Orlando Alvenda. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tripp Locke, Koven Nuncio, and Kayson Waisner.

Although Nanny will be missed more than words can say her legacy of love, kindness and shopping sprees will continue to live on in our hearts.
